‘Pohe ka pulav’ is a delicious treat for vegetarian lovers. It is made by cooking beaten rice or poha with assorted veggies & spices and therefore, has a very distinct taste from a typical rice pulav. Aval or poha is a staple at home, so if you have some blanched or boiled vegetables in hand too, then voila…..you just need few steps to combine everything and make this enticing poha pulao.
This is a fuss free dish that can be made with your choice of vegetables and served as breakfast or tea time snack with some chutney or pickle. Also makes a healthy lunch box snack for kids.
A word of caution, use ‘Thick’ variety of poha and not thin variety otherwise the pulao might turn soggy and not look appetizing. For more Poha or Aval Recipes, you would love to refer our collection with Banarasi Matar Poha, Indori Poha, Poha Namkeen, and Poha Kheer.
Relish this wholesome pohe ka pulav with dhaniye ka raita and instant ginger pickle for a lazy weekend brunch.
You can also serve this poha pulao with your regular meal and enjoy it with kadala curry and kaju paneer curry .
Pack poha pulav in lunch box along with some potato raita and enjoy!
