Recipe Ingredients

  • Beetroot - 1 medium
  • Thick curd or hung curd - 1 cup
  • Ginger (Grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Green chilli (Chopped) - To taste
  • Fresh coriander (Chopped) - A handful
  • Salt - To taste
  • Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder - 1/4 teaspoon (Optional)
  • Lime juice - 1 teaspoon or to taste

How to make Beetroot Chutney

  1. To make Beetroot Chutney, wash beetroot throughly under tap water to remove all dirt. Peel the skin and remove the stalk.
  2. Now grate beetroot and put in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add in all the ingredients and mix to combine well.
  4. Taste to check the seasonings and adjust to preferance.
  5. No Cooking Beetroot Chutney is now ready. Wasn’t that easy?
