Recipe Ingredients

  • Instant coffee powder - 2 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 2 teaspoon or to taste
  • Water - 2-3 tablespoon
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Coffee powder or coco powder - To sprinkle

How to make Homemade Cappuccino

  • To begin with making cappuccino at home without coffee machine, we need to take coffee powder and sugar in a bowl.
  • Mix in 1-2 tablespoon of water and beat vigorously with a spoon or small whisk till all the sugar is well dissolved and it attains a fluffy light brown and thick creamy texture.
  • This is somewhat tedious as it takes nearly 7-10 minutes to get that perfect creamy homogeneous mixture or rather paste.
  • If you’re making this mixture in large batch then simply double or triple this recipe and you could beat with your electric beater. This would definitely ease out your task.
  • Now when our coffee paste is ready and we need to proceed with the milk.
  • For this, boil milk in a saucepan or till it gets a foamy layer on top.
  • Now take 2 coffee mugs and pour in 1-2 tablespoon (As per taste) of coffee paste in each.
  • Pour in the hot milk till 3/4th level of the mug.
  • Stir with spoon.
  • Top with the milk froth and sprinkle with coffee powder or coco powder as desired.
  • Your very own cappuccino is now ready. Enjoy on your working table or simply sip in a lazy corner with books and some soothing music.

Bliss….!!!

NOTES -

  • *I prefer my cappuccino with a strong coffee flavor and light sugar. But, you might adjust the proportionate ingredients to suit your taste.
  • *You can make ‘Coffee Paste’ in large batch and store in an air tight bottle/container in refrigerator for 2-3 days.
  • *Use little amount of cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder or coco powder for an interesting twist.
