Recipe Ingredients

  • Hakka noodles - 200 gms.
  • Capsicum (Thinly sliced) - 1
  • Carrot (Thinly sliced) - 1
  • Cabbage (Shredded)  - 1 cup
  • Onion (Sliced) - 1 medium
  • Ginger (Finely chopped) - 1 teaspoon
  • Green chilli (Slit) - 1-2
  • Garlic (Finely chopped) - 1 teaspoon (Optional)
  • Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 2 teaspoon
  • Green chilli sauce - 1 teaspoon or to taste
  • Vinegar - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - To taste
  • Oil - 1-2 tablespoon

How to make Veg Hakka Noodles

  • To Make Veg Hakka Noodles at home is really easy. But since the cooking is done on high flame, keep all the veggies and sauces ready in hand to avoid any rush.
  • First of all take enough water in a saucepan to boil noodles as per the instructions mentioned on the pack. Drain all the water and keep these boiled noodles in a strainer. Drizzle few drops of oil and toss the noodles, which would avoid sticking or clumping.
  • Heat oil in a large pan. Keeping the flame on high, add in chopped ginger, garlic, green chilli and toss for a second.
  • Add in all the vegetables, sauces and toss for few seconds.
  • Add boiled noodles, salt, vinegar and toss to combine everything well.
  • Let it cook for 2-4 minutes while stirring in between.
  • Remove from heat.
