Let's learn how to make Dhokla.
Khaman Dhokla is a very traditional and popular snack from the colorful state of Gujarat. Basically, it is a steamed savory sponge cake tempered with spices for drooling aroma and usually served as breakfast or tea time snack with spicy chutneys. People also love to have it as a side dish in their lunch or dinner menu.
As per the traditional recipe, dhoklas are made by soaking chana dal in water, grinding and then fermenting the batter before actually putting into steamer. This whole process takes 10 -12 hours of labour. But, here we are giving an instant recipe to make these spongy, savory cakes with besan (Gramflour). So, follow our recipe and discover how easy it is to make this yummy delicacy with perfection at home.
