This boiled aloo chat can be made in less than 10 minutes if you have all the ingredients handy. So, let’s begin…..we need to roughly mash the potatoes and keep aside for later use.
In a large mixing bowl combine all the ingredients including chopped veggies, chutneys, spices and salts. Give a nice mix.
Add in the roughly mashed potatoes and give a toss so that all the potato pieces are nicely coated with the masala.
Check taste, you might want to add some more chilly, chutney or salt to suit your taste buds.
Transfer to a serving plate.
Garnish with farsaan, roasted peanuts, ginger and chopped coriander.
Serve immediately.
Notes –
*You can use boiled baby potatoes for this dish. They look more inviting.
*To keep a balance between sweet and sour flavors, you may also add some chopped fruits like pomegranate, guava, pineapple etc.
*Add some steamed sweet corn for a twist.
